The roll-over into a new calendar year always feels like a fresh start and while I rarely set myself to new year resolutions I do love to set new goals and fresh strategies in my business.
Looking back at last year, I had set the goal of a 'freebie a day' for all of 2025 - mission accomplished! But wow that was a lot of work. I realized that it was probably too ambitious and my work may have lagged a bit in quality here and there. I did however learn a lot in the process and was able to experiment with a few different styles - and as a result got some good feedback on what was popular and what was not!
This year the blog will feel a bit different, so if you are still here, thank you, but stick around to see what comes next. I'll be offering lots of new content and lots of pattern basics, new designs, textures and more.
I'll be offering 2 pattern freebies a week going forward, with perhaps the occasional extra thrown in and a monthly clipart flower freebie that I created using AI.
I'll be talking more about my use of AI in an upcoming post but briefly... I'll be using it sparingly, using it for fun but not as a core feature.
